The four remaining members of the so-called RNC 8 pleaded guilty this morning to gross misdemeanor charges that will not result in any jail time. Defendants Rob Czernick and Max Spektor pleaded to one count each of conspiracy to commit riot, while Garrett Fitzgerald and Nathanael Secor pleaded to one count each of conspiracy to destroy property.

Three chief county prosecutors in the seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan area, with a combined 55 years of experience, are leaving their jobs at the end of the year and triggering something of a shakeup among metro county attorneys.
Ramsey County Attorney Susan Gaertner said today she's supporting Matt Entenza's bid for governor. Entenza is running in a three-way race for the DFL nomination.
A Facebook group launched a day after Margaret Anderson Kelliher was endorsed by the Minnesota DFL to run for governor is urging Mark Dayton and Matt Entenza to abide by the endorsement and not put their name on the August primary ballot.
Ramsey County Attorney Susan Gaertner, who didn't seek the DFL's endorsement for governor this weekend because she planned to be on the August primary ballot, ended her campaign for governor this afternoon.
