If it’s possible to judge a legislator’s re-election vulnerability solely on the number of challengers that he or she attracts, then Lisa Fobbe, Jim Carlson and Kevin Dahle should probably watch their backs.

Fifteen more Minnesotans have registered campaign committees with the state to run for the state Legislature this year -- and one has dropped out of a House race in the east metro.

Minnesota rep, back from Denmark, applauds climate progress

State Reps. Jeremy Kalin and Kate Knuth traveled to Copenhagen for the recently concluded international summit on climate change. While many environmentalists have expressed disappointment at the accord hashed out on the final day of the conference, the Democratic legislators insisted that the agreement provides a valuable framework for addressing the issue.

Minnesota state Reps. Kate Knuth, DFL-New Brighton, and Jeremy Kalin, DFL-North Branch, are headed for Copenhagen, Denmark, to participate in the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference, a summit involving representatives of 192 nations.
Minnesota state Rep. Jeremy Kalin, DFL-North Branch, has been selected to lead a White House working group of state legislators on energy and climate change.
