The Washington Post has a lengthy profile of U.S. Sen. Al Franken this morning.  The premise of the story is that by initially suppressing his funny side in the Senate, he’s erupted in myriad ways.

“Franken exposed an irascible, sometimes nasty side of his personality.”

Other highlights are that Franken says he has been in a “slow burn” on how the Obama administration has handled health care overhaul, and that tensions between Franken and U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar are  “palpable.”
