Kelliher reports $254,000 raised in 2009

DFL gubernatorial candidate Margaret Anderson Kelliher this morning reported that her campaign raised $254,000 in 2009. Kelliher entered the race in mid-August.

She ended the year with $81,000 in cash on hand, according to a press release from her campaign.

More than 1,400 people contributed. The release noted that 94 percent of the donors were from Minnesota.

Campaign Manager Jaime Tincher said the campaign raised nearly $80,000 in December. Kelliher gave her campaign $250.

Kelliher, the state House speaker from Minneapolis, is among 11 DFLers running for governor in 2010.
