Which state communications director has four different versions of “What a Wonderful World” on his iPhone? Which one caught a 25-pound muskie the first time he went fishing? Which one bungee-jumped in New Zealand when he turned 50? And which one was born on the night Ronald Reagan was elected president?
PIM and the Capitol Report just completed a series of profiles of the communications directors for the Minnesota House and Senate Republican and DFL caucuses.
You can read about the bungee-jumping Gary Hill, communications director for the Senate DFL Caucus; Michael Brodkorb, communications director for the Senate Republican Caucus, who danced to “What a Wonderful World” at his wedding; Andrew Wittenborg, director of public affairs for the House DFL Caucus, whose luck extends beyond fishing; and Kevin Watterson, director of public affairs for the House Republican Caucus, a born Republican.
