State Rep. Al Juhnke has taken to calling it the “The Great DFL Doughnut Caper.” Apparently when Democrats showed up to caucus at the Capitol on Tuesday morning there were no doughnuts — or any other form of sustenance — provided for the legislators.
“It’s the first time in 14 years that there hasn’t been a glass of orange juice or a cake doughnut waiting for me or any member,” the Willmar Democrat laments.
Despite the lack of victuals provided during the day-long party gathering, there were no reports of food riots.
