Video: UFCW hosts St. Paul Walmart pro-union rally

Here’s a video produced by Finance & Commerce photographer Bill Klotz; check out the F&C story by Scott Carlson for more on labor’s campaign to organize Walmart. Speakers at a pro-union rally outside the Walmart on University Avenue in St. Paul derided their low wages and poor health benefits while calling for reforms. Speakers included Doug Mork from UFCW Local 789, which is trying to organize the Walmart, and St. Paul City Council Ward 1 member Melvin Carter III. [Here's the UFCW event flyer [PDF].]
