Phil Krinkie, president of the conservative Taxpayers League of Minnesota, has released his organization’s statement in defense of Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s unallotment of the state budget.
Krinkie, a former state House Taxes Committee chairman, saidthe Republican governor’scollision with the DFL-controlled Legislature in the 2009 legislative session left him with no choice but to make cuts tothe2010-2011 budgeton his own.
