It took Wikipedia.org hardly any time at all today to update its entry on Gov. Tim Pawlenty.
"Timothy James Pawlenty (born November 27, 1960) is the 39th and current governor of Minnesota and a Republican," the first paragraph of Pawlenty’s Wikipedia bio reads. "In the Minnesota gubernatorial election of 2002, he was elected governor and was inaugurated on January 6, 2003. He was re-elected in 2006.
"Announced he would not seek re-election (June 02, 2009), possibly clearing the way for a 2012 presidential run."

How come it took Wikipedia 601 days to realize that Abraham Lincoln never attended the first Republican nominating convention in Jackson, Michigan?
