Almost 5,000 people agree with the Minnesota DFL Party: It’s time for Norm Coleman to give up his fight to reclaim his U.S. Senate seat.
The DFL launched a website late last week, GiveItUpNorm.com, which included an online petition that encouraged Coleman

That’s all we need…we have enough clowns in the Senate already, now we’ll have a comic politician who has the IQ of a 12 year old. Franken is not a “real-world” person. He’s someone who’s made his wealth off of making fun of others. These are more than serious times…Franken is a joke and he thinks the world is one big joke.
We don’t need you, Al.

I wonder what the cost of all of Coleman’s appeals and delays are costing the taxpayer.
As a Republican he should do the right thing and agree to pay for all the cost of future appeals out of his own pocket.

Actually, 12-year-olds can have high IQ, low IQ, or average IQ. IQ has nothing to do with age. I guess you didn’t know that. Are you 12 years old?
Hey, you’re right that Franken is a clown, and that he’s made his money making fun of other people. He’s a PROFESSIONAL, so you should expect he’ll do a better job than all the AMATEUR clowns already in the Senate, right? Being a clown doesn’t make you stupid, it only makes you funny.
Also, here’s an example of Franken’s service in the real world. “Franken has served as a volunteer with the United Service Organizations since he first visited Kosovo in 1999. Franken has conducted several overseas tours to both Iraq and Afghanistan, in addition to participating in numerous celebrity handshake tours at military hospitals to visit wounded soldiers. On March 25, 2009, Franken was presented with the USO’s Merit Award for his 10 years of service to the organization through visiting injured and deployed servicemembers.” - Wikipedia
Also, I’m sure Wikipedia has an article about IQ, you could take a look…

Wow, I didn’t realize these things about Al Franken. They must be true, they are posted on the internet.

It is clear to all that Al Franken has won the election. It is also clear that the Democrats are very close to the 60 vote senate that can overrule a filibuster.
So it is very clear that the Republicans are going to drag this out as long as possible, not with any hope of winning but with the intent of blocking one more Democratic vote in the current Senate.
Of course, the games will run out and Al Franken will be seated before 2010. And he will be part of the 60+ Democratic majority in the Senate after 2010.
We waited through eight embarrassing and colossally stupid years of bush; a few months of waiting for Al Franken to be recognized is not a problem.
Cheers!
