Download it now: The official 2010-2011 Governor’s budget proposal CD!

It was a grim scene at the Department of Revenue’s headquarters, the Stassen building, as GOP Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s budget got released. Folks on hand that were lucky enough to get folders of the documents also received a nice little CD with what was deemed the entirety of the budget proposal, currently also available online at http://www.mmb.state.mn.us.

Fortunately, we were among those fortunate enough to get the CDs, and now, for the sake of convenience, PIM can share the entire CD. Get it at politicsinminnesota.com/files/governors-budget-2010-2011.zip. Weighing in at 18.5 MB compressed ZIP (about 22 MB uncompressed), it should match what’s on the website already, but for the thoughtful policy wonk, it’s often easier just to get a nice batch to nosh on, instead. Helpful PDFs for many policy areas are included; start by opening Index.html to come in the virtual ‘front door,’ so to speak.
