About Politics in Minnesota
Politics in Minnesota is Minnesota’s public affairs news service. We cover the politics behind the policies and personalities in government through online publications, e-newsletters and directories.
Launched in 1982, Politics in Minnesota began as a weekly print newsletter written by founders, DJ Leary and Wy Spano. In 1993, Sarah Janecek joined the PIM team. In 2005, Leary and Spano retired from the organization and Janecek moved the newsletter to an online publication. In 2008, Dolan Media Company (NYSE: DM) purchased Politics in Minnesota to expand its base in public affairs reporting.
Currently, Politics in Minnesota publishes The Weekly e-newsletter, The Morning Report, and The Directory.
With a subscription to Politics in Minnesota: The Weekly e-newsletter, you’ll be able to:
- Keep informed and up-to-date on our state’s political environment and its movers and shakers
- Gain an insider’s perspective of what’s happening politically in the halls of the Capitol and around the state.
- Discover what key leaders are thinking – in interviews where no questions are off-limits.
- Be the first to know about newly registered (and terminated) lobbyists.
