Steven Schier: Conventions produce little bounce, nationally or in Minnesota

Now that the national conventions have ended, how did they affect the presidential race nationally and in Minnesota? Though it seems President Barack Obama received a bit bigger “bump” from his convention than did Mitt Romney, the race remains close nationwide, but less obviously so in Minnesota.
