House District 14B
Candidates:

South and west of St. Cloud, a growing suburban area in the eastern half. This once mostly agricultural area dotted with small towns is now an area of rapid growth. The remaining farms are dairy, livestock and grain. There are many descendants of German immigrants farming land that's been in the same family for three or four generations. People here pride themselves on their values and hard work. Preserving the quality of rural life is a priority. Home to St. John's University, the College of St. Benedict, and the world's largest Benedictine Monastary gives the district a strong Catholic lean. There has been significant population growth in Avon, Cold Spring and St. Joseph. Politically, this is a Republican district.
