House District 14A
Candidates:

- Robert Jacobs - DFL (Campaign Finance Bd.)
Mostly rural. A quick-growing area beyond the metro that is experiencing diverse economic growth. Continuing a tradition that dates back to the 1850's, Sartell is still home to International Paper, which employs over 600 people and has the capacity to produce over 850 tons of paper a day. In the last few years, more new single-family homes were built in Sartell than in St. Cloud. Developers like the city's pro-growth policies; the new residents, the good schools. Many district residents work in St. Cloud, just south of the district. Politically, the district leans Republican.
